Fantasy Flight Games just announced my new cover “The Winds of Magic” for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, © Games Workshop. They made a lot of changes to my illustration, so this is not the version you will see in print. I tried doing something different with this illustration by adding a little bit of blur to suggest movement. I’m not sure if I pulled it off, but it was fun to try.

to me the blur works really well on the tentacle right under his belt.

the foreground creature just looks blurred out of focus. which works great too :)

Wow, this didn’t look so good in the small thumbnail but the large image blows my mind with the amount of detail you’ve put in. Simply awesome, congrats!

I think the blur worked out great, man! This is a sweet piece, I’m anxious to see the differences between the print and the version they tweaked.
